There is a particular moment, usually a few steps past the front door, when a house stops being a building and becomes a place. The light changes. The sound softens. The body relaxes before the mind has caught up. Marcio Kogan. The São Paulo architect behind StudioMK27 has long argued that modernism can be warm. His work pairs clean geometry with timber screens, deep shade and a constant dialogue between inside and out. Arthur Casas. Casas brings a Brazilian ease to precise, carefully crafted interiors, where natural materials and generous openings do the emotional work. His homes are calm rather than clever, designed to be felt before they are understood.
Fernando Higueras Díaz. A defining voice of Spanish modernism, Higueras understood that landscape is not a backdrop but a collaborator. His expressive, sculptural spirit reminds us that bold form and a deep sense of place are not opposites.
